Let's get practical. “How do you actually do that? You want to get 1% better? Here’s what it looks like—break it down. Fourteen minutes, twenty-four seconds. Can you invest that?”

Friday keeps it honest about what derails us. Wounds, old messages, perfectionism—these things show up if you let them sit. “My fitness became a weapon almost for harm,” Friday admits. But then he pivots: “Over time, I learned to frame those drives within all four blocks. I’m not so sure about this idea that you have to devote your whole life to just one thing. You can achieve all your dreams by having a full, abundant life in all these areas.” There’s the growth. The pain doesn’t get the last word—it pushes you toward integration, toward maturity, toward a life that ripples outward.

Want to keep your mess off the field and out of sight? It doesn’t work. “There is no off or on the field,” Friday says flatly. “When we step on that field, we take everything with us.
